Services provided: video editing, filming, and planning.
We developed and produced this commercial for APM Help, a Texas-based property management support company. Initially consulting with this client to develop and refine brand identity, we then translated that concept into a visual language for this video. The video features a new service they wanted to promote, and was written, storyboarded, and filmed top-to-bottom by Penzance Media. We provided multiple versions for different platforms, and handled all music licensing so that the video asset would be available to the client in perpetuity without legal or clearance issues.
Spec: Dance Film
Services provided: video editing, filming, and planning.
In spring of 2023, Penzance produced this spec music video in collaboration with Fresh Congress Dance for a private client. Set to Ray Lamontagne's "Empty", it was filmed entirely on location within San Diego County, California on a cinema camera. Due to the non-commercial nature of this film, copyrighted music was used.
Coach Alex Wolf

In addition to a 52-part series of "fitness tips" for social media, we also filmed and edited this “video business card” for professional fitness trainer Alex Wolf. Our familiarity with capturing physical movement strongly informed our approach to these videos. At the client’s request, this clip was delivered in both 16x9 widescreen and 1x1 for different platforms.
Trolley Dances 2022
Services provided: video editing and filming.
While in the field for Trolley Dances 2022, we filmed and edited this video on spec for San Diego Dance Theater and Fresh Congress. Especially arresting in this video is the use of high frame rate filming, which allowed us to switch to slow motion and back again while editing.

Working closely with acclaimed San Diego contemporary dance company Fresh Congress, we created this dance film as part of their “False North” multimedia showcase in 2022. The showcase was well received by the dance community, and Fresh Congress continues to utilize this video for promotion and grant application.
Ballet Counterpointe

We’ve shot both live events and social media content for Ballet Counterpointe. This is a compilation piece we filmed and edited in vertical 9x16 format for IG Reels and TikTok.
